Born in 1988 in the south west of France, John Mirabel is a half french, half american artist who studied at the HEAR of Strasbourg with professor Manfred Sterjakob and at the HGB of Leipzig with professor Alba d’Urbano. Artist and musician, John Mirabel has a polymorphous work that plays of rythms and compositions, whatever the tools are. It’s through these forms and by these forms that the mind creates its objects, its images.
Since 2016 he created the project PASSAGE, an international contemporary art residency and exhibition that takes place in Bergerac, (FR) in the form of a bienale where he invites 6 artists each time to create immersive installation in abandonned places.
